The final Homework Club for the year was held on Wednesday, 28th November.
I wish to thank everyone who assisted – teachers and volunteers, and the young people who made the most of their opportunity to seek assistance, utilise resources and value the importance of getting assignments, homework and revision attended to promptly.
Whilst some students need to develop more independence in organising themselves and keep focused on their work in Homework Club, the majority of students have benefited greatly from the program and also from the strengthening of relationships with their teachers and the other adults who come along to help.
Many teachers regularly attend the sessions and others come as time permits. All do this voluntarily in the interests of assisting our students to achieve their best.
Both staff and volunteers really enjoy this program and look forward to your interest as parents/guardians and students in 2013.
