On Friday, 1st November, 129 students from 7I, K, L, H, J and G visited the Queen Victoria Market to collect data and to develop their mapping and orientation skills. Under the supervision of teachers students navigated their way through the market in groups comparing prices and discovering its unique features through food, atmosphere and conversations with store holders. This information will be used to make comparisons to place, price, product and promotion in shopping centres such as Endeavour Hills. Students also completed a field sketch at the museum looking back towards the city. IMAX provided a unique 3D experience in understanding the mysteries of the mummies in ancient Egyptian civilisation.
