Tony Rafferty visits Gleneagles Book Club

Tony Rafferty, Australia’s best known and highest achieving distance runner visited Gleneagles Book Club recently and talked about how reading inspired him.  In 1972 Tony was the first man to run from Sydney to Melbourne and in 1973 the first to run across The Nullabor Plain. He has run through the hottest places on earth: Death Valley, The Birdsville Track, and The Simpson Desert.
