Rosalie Crestani, Councillor for Four Oaks Ward from the City of Casey, visited the College on Tuesday, 26th August 2014 as part of the Principal for the Day Program. The Program aims to:
– Increase understanding and awareness between schools, business and the wider community and promote the great work that schools do.
– Provide business and community leaders with first-hand and current experiences of schools.
– Enable school Principals to develop on-going relationships with leaders from other spheres.
– Increase opportunities for schools and the community to work together in mutually beneficial ways.
Rosalie Crestani met with the Principal and Assistant Principals to discuss various matters including the program, the Eumemmerring Alliance, course selection and future facility developments for the college. Rosalie attended morning tea with staff, toured the college, visited a Year 10 Humanities class to discuss the role of local Government and attended a lunch with the Principal and College Captains.
