An Information Night will be held on Wednesday, 15th April 2015 at 7.00pm for parents/guardians interested in the SEAL Program for Year 7, 2016 students. The Information Night will be held at Gleneagles Secondary College in “the Shed”. There is no need to RSVP or make a booking. Students and parents/guardians all welcome.

HAST Candidate Information Booklet
This information booklet is available for parents to purchase. The booklet details the registration process for students, what students should bring on the day, how to use the OMR answer sheet and test taking tips. It also provides descriptions of each of the tests and contains sample items. The HAST Sample Question Booklet
This booklet has been developed in response to parents and students wanting to know what the actual test is like. Please note that this booklet does not contain a real test, rather it is a collection of sample test questions. Thank you for your interest in the SEAL Program at Gleneagles for Year 7, 2016 students. Listed below are some important dates regarding the SEAL Program.
SEAL APPLICATIONS AND EXAM PAYMENT CLOSE, MONDAY, 27TH APRIL 2015, 12 NOON
The SEAL Year 7, 2016 Application (Form A) and the Parent Referral (Form B) are to be completed by parents and returned to the College Bursar by 12 noon on Monday, 27th April 2015.
Whilst the college covers a significant portion of the cost of the SEAL testing, candidates need to pay a $25 fee to the College Bursar by 12 noon on Monday 27th April 2015. This can be paid at the Bursar’s office between 8.00am-4.30pm weekdays when submitting the SEAL forms.
The Teacher Referral Form (Form C) is to be sent directly by the Grade 6, 2015 Teacher to the College.
SEAL TEST, SATURDAY, 9TH MAY, 2015, 8.45AM – 12.15PM
The testing for Year 7, 2016 students will be held on Saturday 9th May 2015 from 8.45am until 12.15pm at Gleneagles in the Shed. Students will need to bring a packed lunch and a drink. The College will contact each candidate when the results are available in early June 2015.
Note: Students who have not returned Form A and Form B, together with the exam fee of $25.00 by the due date of 12 noon, Monday 27th April 2015 will not be able to sit the SEAL Test on Saturday 9th May 2015.

Applications for entry into the 2016 Year 7 SEAL Program are now being invited. The SEAL Information Night will be held on Wednesday 15th April 2015 at 7.00pm in the Shed at the College. No booking required. Applications close on Monday, 27th April 2015 at 12 noon.
Testing for entry into the SEAL Program for Year 7, 2016 students is scheduled for Saturday, 9th May 2015. Please let family members or friends who may be interested in this program know that they may obtain the application form and further details through the college website.
