JUNIOR SCHOOL STUDENTS
NEED HELP LEARNING TO LEARN?
Throughout Term 2, the Junior School will be running a series of interactive workshops designed to help student’s develop their study skills and techniques and become more independent and confident learners.
As a part of these sessions, students will work through areas such as:
• Identifying and understanding their own study habits, attitudes and preferences
• Effective goal setting and reflection
• Reading and effective note taking
• Memory techniques
• How different study tools can be applied across all subjects
These sessions will be held each Friday during lunch time and students who are part of the program must commit to attending every week and completing small tasks that will be set.
As well as teachers recommending students they feel will benefit from the program, we welcome queries and applications from parents and of course students themselves. The program will have a limit of 20 students to ensure that the best possible assistance is provided to everyone involved.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss the possibility of your son/daughter being a part of this program, please contact Ms Helana Corrigan on Tel 9708 1319. We will be taking names until the end of Term 1 and students selected will be notified at the beginning of Term 2.
