YEAR 11 POLITICS STUDENTS, TV APPEARANCE ON Q&A

On Monday, 9th May 2016, seven students from the Year 11 Australian and Global Politics class were in the studio audience for the television panel discussion program Q&A on ABC TV. The program featured a panel of five public figures, including politicians from each of the major federal parties as well as minor party politicians, answering questions provided by viewers and the studio audience.

The students were allocated front row seats where they listened to discussions and debates about the recent Federal Budget. This proved to be a fantastic learning opportunity for the students as they were able to witness politics in action and also develop a greater understanding of policy issues affecting Australia today.
