SUCCESSFUL CLASS OF 2018  KWONG LEE DOW YOUNG SCHOLARS PROGRAM

Congratulations to Canis Nugroho, 10E who has been selected for the Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program at the University of Melbourne for 2018. The Program will afford the participants the opportunity to mix with like-minded peers and future leaders. A tailored program of events and activities will support and enhance their secondary studies, inspire their career plans and provide opportunities to interact with university community.  The program was established in 2007 and is named in honour of eminent scholar, leading educationalist and former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Melbourne, Professor Kwong Lee Dow.

Of the 1800 applications submitted by students across Victoria (and adjoining border regions), 700 were selected to join the Young Scholars Program.  Canis Nugroho will be among those accepted to attend a Welcome Event on Tuesday 6th December 2016 at the University of Melbourne.  Students will be officially welcomed into the Program and participate in a number of information sessions on the day including a Welcome Address from former Vice-Chancellor and the Program’s namesake Professor Kwong Lee Dow. We wish Canis the best of luck in the Program.
