Gleneagles Secondary College has our own Doctor as part of the Victorian Government's DISS Program. The service is absolutely free and is available every Friday 9am-1pm.
In 2020, the This is ‘IT’ initiative was born, in an attempt to equalise access to education across the South East region of Melbourne.
The initiative aimed to offer scholarships to local students, in the form of laptops.
A group of Year 8 students are currently participating in a pilot program with the South East Melbourne Phoenix Basketball Club. The Phoenix do a lot of work with primary schools, but this program is a pilot program for secondary schools.
Congratulations to Molly Griffiths (Yr 11) who came 5th in u17s Girls Backstroke at the State Swimming Championships. Molly swam 35.29 (a personal best!) in a strong field. Well done Molly!
Gleneagles Secondary College has out performed similar schools in the National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN). Across all 5 categories at both Year 7 and at Year 9.
Our Senior Boys Soccer Team has now progressed to the State Final after winning both the District and Regional Finals. The team of Year 11 and 12 students has progressed through after defeating all other schools in the whole of the South Eastern Region of Victoria.

Congratulations to our 2019 School Captain, Josh Davis who was recently awarded the prestigious ‘Hansen Scholarship’ as part of his Bachelor of Arts (Politics / Islamic Studies) degree at the University of Melbourne.
Congratulations to Jacob Grant for winning silver in high jump at State Athletics for the 18-20 years age group. Jacob jumped a height of 1.85cm to take out the medal.
To support the positive transition to secondary school Year 5 and 6 students from James Cook, Thomas Mitchell, Southern Cross, Mossgiel Park and Chalcot Lodge Primary Schools recently attended a transition day at Gleneagles Secondary College.
Congratulations to students that participated in the Young Leaders Global Youth Forum. Thirteen Year 9 students participated in the week long forum which involved connecting with over 1000 other students from 100 different schools around the world in an online forum.
