Thank you for your interest in the SEAL Program at Gleneagles for Year 7, 2022 students.  Listed below are some important dates and procedures regarding the SEAL Program.

SEAL INFORMATION

We encourage parents interested in the program to contact us via email at seal@gleneagles.vic.edu.au if you have any specific queries that you would like to discuss.  There will be an Information Presentation added to this page shortly which will include additional information on our SEAL program.

Please read the information below regarding the process required to apply for entry to the 2022 Year 7 SEAL class. 

MONDAY 26 APRIL 2021, 4:00PM – SEAL APPLICATIONS AND TEST PAYMENTS CLOSE!

Whilst the college covers a significant portion of the cost of the SEAL testing, candidates need to pay a $35 fee. This fee is paid directly to Edutest and must be paid by 4.00pm Monday 26 April.

Please use this link to complete the Edutest registration.

When you open the registration link please read the information and click the orange NEXT button. Follow the registration/login prompts, once your registration and Application is completed the site will take you to the Parent Referral and payment sections. Once the full registration process and payment is submitted through the Edutest portal you will receive a confirmation email from Edutest with a financial receipt and confirmation of your registration.

Teacher Referral Form link: parents are asked to give this document to the Grade 6, 2021 teacher to complete.  The teacher is required to send the completed confidential document directly to Julie Mullins, SEAL Program Leader via the following email: seal@gleneagles.vic.edu.au or via Fax: (03) 9708 1324.

SATURDAY 1 MAY 2021 – SEAL SELECTION TEST 2022 – 9:00AM START 

The testing will be held on Saturday 1 May 2021. This is a 5 part paper based test and must be done on the day within the set time-frame.

The assessment consists of five tests:

  1. Verbal Reasoning
  2. Numerical Reasoning
  3. Reading Comprehension
  4. Mathematics
  5. Written Expression

The College will contact each candidate once the results are available in late May – early June 2021.

Note: Students who have not completed the online registration with Edutest, including the payment of the test fee of $35.00 by the due date of Monday 26 April 2021 at 4:00pm will not be eligible to sit the SEAL Test on Saturday 1 May 2021.

REMOTE OVERSEAS AND INTERSTATE TESTING 
(at a location other than the testing school)

Any request for remote testing must be emailed to remote@edutest.com.au  by Sunday 25 April 2021

It is not possible to make arrangements for remote online testing in the week leading up to the examination.  

Remote online testing for Overseas and Interstate students will incur an additional fee.
