An event, River Walk & Melbourne Museum , has been planned for Wednesday, 3 March 2021.
Students will participate in a cultural river walk, exploring the history of the Australian Indigenous people and
culture. Students will then visit the First Peoples exhibition at Melbourne Museum and will be dismissed from the City at 3:00pm
Date/Time/Venue: Wednesday, 3 March 2021 (8:30 AM to 3:00 PM),
Dress Code: Full School Uniform Students will require ma valid MYKI, lunch and snacks or money to purchase.
Transport: Students should make their own way to meet Ms Piddington at Flagstaff Station by 9:30am and will be dismissed from
the City at 3:000pm Students requiring travel supervision should advise Ms Piddington.

Consent/Payment can be provided online through the school’s parent portal (https://gleneagles-vic.compass.education), using
your parent log in details or alternatively by downloading the permission form from Compass and returning the tear-off slip, with
payment to the Bursar.
Compass now gives eligible families the option to pay/consent using CSEF funds if available.
If you wish to draw from a payment plan or pay in cash, you will need to download the permission form or send written permission
to the Finance Office advising payment method. The finance office is open from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday&
Friday and till 3:30pm Wednesday.
Please note: the school must obtain written or electronic consent from parents or carers.
Parents are reminded that DET does not provide students accident cover or ambulance cover. Parents are advised they should
make their own arrangements for these matters.
