Top Arts – Year 11 Studio Arts

An event, Yr 11 Studio Arts TOP ARTS , has been planned for Monday, 16 March 2020. This is an opportunity for students to gain an insight into the themes and ideas, working methods, materials, techniques and sources of inspiration of a range of exhibiting artists. The day will begin with a viewing of the Top Arts exhibition, followed by a lecture where folios and assessment will be discussed with links to outcomes in the VCE Studio Arts.  The afternoon session will be a visit to The NGV International to view current exhibitions.

Date/Time/Venue: Monday, 16 March 2020 (8:30 AM to 2:55 PM), National Gallery of Victoria

Cost: $16.00, due by Monday, 2 March 2020

Dress Code: Full School Uniform Transport: Students will travel independently to the City to meet at Federation Square by 9:15am.

Students will be dismissed from the City approximately 3:00pm

Consent: Required, due by Monday, 2 March 2020 Students will require a valid MYKI, lunch or money to purchase. Students requiring travel supervision should advise Ms Hamilton or Mr Siddaway Consent/Payment can be provided online through the school’s parent portal (https://gleneagles-vic.compass.education), using your parent log in details or alternatively by downloading the permission form from Compass and returning the tear-off slip, with payment to the Bursar. Compass now gives eligible families the option to pay/consent using CSEF funds if available. If you wish to draw from a payment plan or pay in cash, you will need to download the permission form or send written permission to the Finance Office advising payment method. The finance office is open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday Please note: the school must obtain written or electronic consent from parents or carers. Parents are reminded that DET does not provide students accident cover or ambulance cover. Parents are advised they should make their own arrangements for these matters.
