This year, Year 8 students will have the opportunity to attend a camp at Oasis Camp at Mount Evelyn.
Dates for 2021: Monday 3 May – Wednesday 5 May
The year 8 camp program is designed to build on previous camps and extra-curricular experiences to extend and enrich students’ learning and social skill development in a non-school setting. Oasis Camp provides ample opportunities to develop student resilience, perseverance and independence. Students will work together to build confidence, responsibility and sense of community through the various scheduled activities as part of the camp experience. While on camp, students will participate in activities such as flying fox, archery, initiative games, rock-climbing, laser tag and wildlife encounters at the Reptile House. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration and many of the skills required during camp are transferrable to both the school environment and life experiences of a teenager.
The cost of the camp, which includes all transport, meals, accommodation and activities is $270.00. The form below and a non-refundable deposit of $100 are required to be paid to the Bursar’s Office by 31 March. The balance of the payment must be paid by Friday 23 April.
Please note that there is a limited number of places for this camp.
We encourage interested students to attend this camp. Please contact the College Bursar to discuss payment options on 9708 1319.
