Communication with School Staff Policy

Gleneagles Secondary College understands the importance of providing helpful and timely responses to common enquiries from parents and carers.


School staff will do our best to respond to general queries as soon as possible and ask that you allow us 2 – 3 working days to provide you with a detailed response. We will endeavour to respond to urgent matters within one business day where possible.

It contains information on how to contact the school to

  • report a student absence,
  • to report any urgent issues relating to a student
  • to discuss a student’s academic progress, health or wellbeing,
  • for enquiries regarding camps and excursion
  • to report a potential hazard or incident on the school site   NB after hours urgent matters can be reported to the security services unit (03) 9589 6266.
  • for parent payments, please contact Bursar on 03 9708 1319 or marked attention Bursar
