NAPLAN 2023
Gleneagles Secondary College has out performed similar schools in the National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN). Across all 5 categories at both Year 7 and at Year 9.
NAPLAN has changed in 2023 with student results now presented on a scale of:
- Exceeding
- Strong
- Developing and
- Needs Additional Support
- more students in the Exceeding and Strong categories than similar schools (similar in size and demograhics - e.g. co-educational, government etc.)
- our highest ever rates of participation
- our equal strongest ever Year 9 scores and
- our strongest ever Year 7 scores
